Parkside Forced to Cancel Season Opener

Parkside Forced to Cancel Season Opener

Salisbury ... The Parkside Rams football team was originally scheduled to play Snow Hill in the season opener on Friday, September 3. The Eagles were forced to cancel that game due to a late start after dealing with some health issues on the team. Parkside recently replaced that opponent with the Northeast Eagles from Anne Arundel County. Today (Tuesday August 31) Parkside was forced to cancel their season opener with Northeast due to their own health issues. That means the Rams will play just eight games this season, making it tougher to make the playoffs in November. While not impossible, the road certainly gets tougher with a bigger importance on each game. Parkside will open up on September 10 with a game at County Stadium versus JM Bennett.
